Vader and I make a good hunting team!

My dad brought me on my first hunting trip last week. We shot some geese including one that was banded and Vader did his job of retrieving them. Mom is still mad at us because dad and I came home sick and Vader had a sore shoulder. Dad told me to get use to mom reacting like that when we get home from a hunting trip.

My dad promised me a new gun, a four wheeler and a puppy of my own to hunt with when I get a little older. I'm sure I can talk him into a few more things.

Picking Apples

The best time of the year has come, Fall. Fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and hunting season top the list but gorgeous weather ranks up there as well. The pictures were taken in my grandparents apple orchard. This is where we pick the apples so my grandmother (Nancy) can make me a large pan of apple crisp. If you didn't notice we are wearing our "Gopher Gear." Fall is also the start of hockey season. Like I said, this is the best time of the year.

The three photos are of Grandpa Cliff holding me for the first time. This was the first day we met and as you can tell, we already have a special bond. Shortly after the pictures were taken, I feel asleep and took a long nap. Grandpa Cliff held me the entire time.

My Uncles

I have four uncles that spoil me to death but I like it. This is my Uncle Doug holding me when I was two days old. I'm a lot bigger now! Doug is my Godfather and he will be at my baptism in a few weeks.
Uncle Dean is going to teach me how to fish for walleye and cook a great meal. My dad and mom tell me that Dean is a phenomenal cook. I'm still drinking milk for every meal so a good meal would be nice for a change.
My Uncle Jack is the most experienced with kids. Jack has been an uncle before and he knows how to hold me so I don't cry. I'm sure Jack could teach me how to play piano but I don't know if my mom will let me play since she hated piano lessons growing up.



Uncle Derek is not pictured at this time. He will be added to the blog at a later date. Derek was fishing for Musky when I was born so we didn't get any pictures. I like him already!

My new home!

This is my new home out in the country. Vader and I have tons of space to run and play. We get to move in at the end of the month. My mom can't wait to move in. She said her favorite thing about getting a place of our own was that she could have all my baby stuff organized. Plus, we have a guest home for friends and family to come visit.
